Diagnosis : antennule and antenna with long setulated setae (often longer than combined length of antenna and cephalothorax) and antennular peduncular articles modified to form an opercular "feeding cup". Epistomal process well developed and anteriorly directed. Dorsal margin of cheliped propodus with several long setulose anteriorly directed setae. Males unknown.
