Scales: 20 µm. Additions to description. On head, setae m4 present, aa and pa absent, sensilla as and ps present ( Fig. 54A ); seta sp 1.4–1.5 times longer than p ; sensilla pp rudimentary. Labral setae present. Seta rs inflated, equal to sr in length ( Fig. 54B ). On maxillary palpus ( Fig. 54C ) sensillum md slightly longer then ml . On galea ( Fig. 54D ) digit O longer than M and I; M slightly shorter than or as long as I. Mandible with two teeth ( Fig. 54E ). On hind tarsus ( Fig. 54F ) D2 and D4 spine-like, D4 slightly more slender than D2 . Tracheal camerae contracted distally ( Fig. 54G ). Central lobe slightly sinuate ( Fig. 54H ). Laterostigmata II–IV large ( Fig. 54I ), II with a central spot, III–IV with no inner structure; that on V small. On abdominal tergite VIII ( Fig. 54J ) P1a' without basal dilatation and anterior to P2 ; P2a linear. Remarks. The holotype was not found in the collection of NSMT; hence, topotype specimens were examined. Distribution. Japan (Honshu)
