Remarks
. The single specimen has a damaged head; parts of pereopod I, and all other pereopods are missing. It appears to be close to the new species
Austronanus aucklandensis
described above, including a 5segmented antennula, but the shape of the frontal margin of the head differs, to judge from the undamaged parts, the body is slightly broader, the uropods are shorter, and the female operculum is more pointed.
