Description.
(1) Outline: elongate-trapezoid to almost rectangular; (2) excisura: wide and hardly incised; (3) rostrum: distinctly longer than the antirostrum, except in the specimen shown in
Figure 5e
; (4) dorsal rim and (5) ventral rim: both straight or slightly curving and more or less smooth; (6) posterior rim: sloping; (7) crista superior: thickened in its anterior part and thinner posteriorly; (8) crista inferior: thin but distinctly expressed, the area beneath the crista shows a few small knobs; (9) inner face and (10) outer face: both flat or slightly convex.
