Pivorun; Pickens Co. Clemson, 17 October 1971 , ex M. pinetorum , coll. G.D. Ehnat. Euschoengastia peromysci was collected in the mountain, piedmont, and coastal plain regions of South Carolina. Joy et al. (1973) reported E . peromysci from Microtus pennsylvanicus , P. leucopus , and Sylvilagus floridanus (Allen) in West Virginia; and Crossley and Proctor (1971) reported it from Tamias striatus (Linnaeus) and M. pinetorum from the piedmont of Georgia .
