Li and Z. Chen leg. Paratypes : 2 females (IZCAS), same data as holotype. Etymology. The specific name refers to the type locality; noun in apposition. Diagnosis. Females of M. lincang sp. nov. can be distinguished from all congeners by a pair of large bulbous spermathecae (Fig. 21A ). Figure 21. Merizocera lincang sp. nov., holotype female. Description. Female (holotype). Total length 1.58; carapace 0.64 long, 0.53 wide; abdomen 0.92 long, 0.81 wide. Carapace circular, brown, with dark brown radiating marks (Fig. 21C ). Fovea shallow. Thoracic region distinctly elevated medially. Clypeus, labium, and sternum dark brown. Abdomen ovoid, dark brown (Fig. 21B ). Legs brown; measurements: I 3.50 (0.88, 0.20, 1.05, 0.81, 0.56), II 3.04 (0.79, 0.20, 0.87, 0.70, 0.48), III 2.58 (0.67, 0.17, 0.67, 0.63, 0.44), IV 3.71 (0.92, 0.19, 1.10, 0.88, 0.62). Epigastric area (Fig. 21B ): dark brown, nearly trapezoidal patch. Endogyne (Fig. 21A ): ratio of the width of spermathecae to the interdistance of spermathecae 1:3. Male. Unknown. Distribution. Known only from the type locality (China; Fig. 53 ).
