WORKER DIAGNOSIS. The workers have the following set of character states: elongated head that is narrowed behind and entirely with longitudinal striation, eyes located near mid-
length of head, clypeus without longitudinal central carina; pronotum much broader than mesothorax and propodeum, propodeum broadened posteriorly, entire mesosoma with regular striation; petiole nodiform, not compressed longitudinally; gaster smooth and shining. Our identification is based on the worker description for
Lobopelta kitteli
in Mayr (1870) and keys (Bharti & Wachkoo, 2013; Xu & He, 2015; Arimoto & Yamane, 2018).
