Ecology: —Common; epiphytic and, less commonly, terrestrial in humid forests; 700–2950 m . Notes: —Typically occurs at lower elevations than E. andicola , but there is ample overlap. Some intermediates cannot be assigned with certainty to either species. Variable, possibly a species complex.
