Remarks.
This species is large, and has many strong cephalic spines, differentiating it from
Lophophaena gozui
n. sp.
(pl. 31, figs. 1A–6), which only has two spines. The thorax of this species is very thorny around the shoulder area and about three times as broad as the cephalis.
