Diagnosis.
Head with median triangular projection, with long median carina reaching anterior margin of eyes, each eye composed of 4-5 ommatidia above long spine; antennae short, slightly exceeding posterior margin of pro- notum, with antennomeres 9 and 10 transverse, terminal antennomere symmetrical.
Redescription.
Body (

) light reddish-brown, shiny, with long, dense setae on sides of head, pronotum and elytra, disc of elytra glossy with several setae, length
2.59 mm
, maximum width of elytra
0.78 mm
.
Head about as long as wide, rostrum in middle with triangular projection, clypeus rounded, head with median impression, vertex with long median carina reaching anterior margins of eyes, lateral carinae well-defined, supra-antennal tubercules prominet, eyes reduced to 4–5 ommatidia above long spines, median basal carina well-defined.
Antennae
0.98 mm
long, scape short, 1.50 times as long as wide, 1.20 times as long as pedicel, antennomere III, V, X equal in lengths, slightly longer than IV, VI, VII and IX each, which are of equal lengths, antennomere VIII shortest, antennomeres IX and X hexagonal, both transverse, terminal antennomere 1.50 times as long as wide and 2.25 times as long as X.
Pronotum 1.15 times longer than wide and 1.07 times as long as head, rounded in anterior third and with sides convergent toward base, median and lateral antebasal foveae well-defined, median fovea well-delimeted in posterior half by U-shaped carinae connected to lateral carinae.
Elytra 1.15 times as wide as long, about 1.3 times as long as pronotum, with two well-defined basal foveae, discal stria wide, slightly shorter than 1/3 of elytral length, sutural striae entire.
Abdomen 1.25 times as long as elytra, first visible tergite (IV) 5.5 times as long as second (V), third (VI) slightly shorter than second (V), both combined about 1.5 times as long as fourth visible tergite (VII); first visible tergite (IV) with external carinae parallel to lateral margin of first visible tergite (IV), with well-defined discal carinae, late located closer to centre, area between median carinae 1.35 times shorter than distance of carina to lateral margin, length of discal carinae 0.15 of tergal length.
Legs unmodified, long and slender, all femora clavate, tibiae and tarsi slender.
