Discussion.
— The genus was established for a single species from Khao Yai in Central
Thailand
. No other records were reported so far. The new species described below was already collected by D. H. Murphy during his
Orthoptera
research in
Singapore
from the 1960s to 1980s, though this species remained unidentified to date. In an attempt to revise the inventory of the
Orthoptera
in the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve (BTNR) and Central Catchment Nature Reserve (CCNR) of
Singapore
, more specimens were collected by Tan et al. since 2010.
