Remarks.
According to
Lemaitre & Tavares(2015)
, reports of
Catapaguroides microps
from the western Atlantic are few and scattered. It is considered a cosmopolitan species (
Forest & de Saint Laurent 1968
) but
McLaughlin
et al.
(2010)
raised doubts about the conspecificity of the Indonesian and eastern Atlantic material used by
Forest & de Saint Laurent 1968
and agreed that the material should be reexamined.
