Diagnosis
. This species can be distinguished from all other Neotropical
Epirhyssa
by the combination of the following characters: 1) occipital carina not joining hypostomal carina; 2) hind tibia prominently swollen; and 3) tergite I elongate, about 3.2 times as long as posteriorly broad; and 4) strong median tubercle on the anterior edge of the clypeus.
