Holotype of Ctenoneura birmanica , male ( NRM ), “N. E. BURMA , Kambaiti , 7000ft . 25/5, 1934, R. MALAISE leg.”. Paratype of Ctenoneura birmanica , male ( NRM ), “N. E. BURMA , Kambaiti , 2000m . 28/5, 1934, Malaise leg.” Other material examined by photos. 1♀ ( NRM ), “N. E. BURMA , Kambaiti , 7000ft . 28/3, 1934, R. MALAISE leg.”, with a determination label: “ Ipolatta paradoxa Karry , ♀, det. K. Princis”. Distribution. North Myanmar (Kambaiti). Remarks. This species was found in North Myanmar , near the border between Myanmar and China , it may also be distributed in China . Princis (1950) considered two apteral female cockroaches from North Myanmar as females of Ipolatta paradoxa ; after examining the specimen from NRM , we found they are the females of Ctenoneura . The locality information is the same as the types of C. birmanica so we treat them as females of C. birmanica .
