MolluscaBase (2021a) considers A. stilifer as a synonym of A. pendata Dall, 1927 . The holotype of A. stilifer (USNM 108024) ( Figure 21A–D ) and the holotype of A. pendata (USNM 108021) ( Figure 21E–G ) are proportionally similar in size, including the width of the first protoconch whorl ( ca. 250 μm). The transition between protoconch-teleoconch is not clear ( Figure. 21D, G ). We follow this synonymy and keep the priority with the name A. stilifer .
