Type material. Holotype ♀, S. lineata , ZMB 459 , from Caracas, Distrito Federal, Venezuela , Gollmer leg ., examined. Diagnosis. Females differ from those of other species by the spermathecae with both dorsal and ventral receptacles fused, the ventral one with long lobes ( Figs 4 A, B). Males unknown. Only type material available. Description. Holotype Female ( ZMB 459 ). Total length: 24.3 . Carapace: length 8.2 ; width 6.7 . Eye tubercle: length 1.1 ; width 1.3 . Labium: length 1.1 ; width 1.7 . Sternum: length 3.8 ; width 3.7 . Basal segment of chelicerae with 10 teeth. Labium subquadrate, with more than 200 cuspules. Maxillae with more than 150 cuspules. Sternum rounded, slight bulge near labium, posterior sigilla away from sternal margin. Thoracic fovea procurved. Spines: Palp: femur (d) 0-0-p 1 , tibia (v) 0-0-ap 2 . Legs: I: femur (d) 0-p 1 -p 1 , metatarsus (v) 0-0-ap 1 ; II: femur (d) 0-0-p 1 , metatarsus (v) 0-1 -ap 3 ; III: patella (p) 2 , tibia (r) 0-1 -0, (v) 0-0-ap 2 , (p) 0-2 -0, metatarsus (r) 0-1 - 1 , (v) 2 - 2 -ap 5 , (p) 1 - 1 - 1 ; IV: tibia (v) 0-2 -ap 3 , (p) 0- 0-1 , metatarsus (v) 0-2 - 1 +ap 5 , (p) 0-1 - 1 , (r) 1 - 1 - 1 . Spermathecae comprise two receptacula, one dorsal and short, one ventral with long lobes ( Figures 4 A– 4 B). Metatarsal scopulae extent (ventral surfaces only): I–II, for distal half; III, for slightly less than distal half; IV on less than half, only few setae. Tarsal scopulae (ventral surfaces only): I–IV divided by longitudinal band of thick setae. Paired tarsal claws with single small tooth.
