Description
: D: IV-V,8-9; A: III,8-10. Body moderately robust, head wide, flattened above. First dorsal fin origin usually nearer to caudal fin base than to snout tip; adepose eyelid little developed. Colour greenish-grey above, silvery on sides and belly; fins dusky along margins.
