In addition, Triceratops is represented by two species: T. horridus and T. porosus . Unfortunately, the differences between all the taxa are best expressed in the skulls, making it difficult, and in many instances impossible, to identify isolated elements from the Denver Basin to even the generic level. A few notable specimens are described below.
