Etymology:
The specific name is a patronym in honor of the collector of the
type
specimen, Professor Heng-Mei Yan at Hunan Normal University, Changsha,
China
.
Diagnosis:
The female resembles
C. pseudoterrestris
in having the long, anteriorly extending copulatory ducts but can be distinguished by the long, posteriorly arising epigynal teeth and medially arising spermathecal heads (rather than arising from lateral spermathecae in
C. pseudoterrestris
) (
Figs 147–148
).
Description:
Female (
holotype
): Medium sized coelotine, total length 6.10 (
Fig. 151
). Carapace 3.00 long, 1.82 wide. Abdomen 3.10 long, 2.00 wide. ALE largest, other eyes subequal or with AME slightly smaller (AME 0.09, ALE 0.12, PME 0.10, PLE 0.10); AME separated by slightly less than their diameter, from ALE by slightly more than half of AME diameter; PME separated from each other by their diameter, from PLE by about 1.5 times PME diameter (AME-AME 0.07, AME-ALE 0.06, PME-PME 0.10, PME-PLE 0.14, AME-PME 0.13) (
Fig. 152
). Labium with subequal length and width (L/W=1.00) (
Fig. 153
). Chelicera with 3 promarginal and 3 retromarginal teeth. Epigynal teeth relatively long, arising posteriorly, closer to epigastric furrow than to anterior atrial margin, widely separated by slightly more than atrial width; atrium small, with distinct, continuous anterior margin but indistinct lateral margins; copulatory ducts extending anteriorly about the same length as spermathecae or less; spermathecae broad, slightly separated and elongate; spermathecal heads arising distally from ventral side of spermathecae (
Figs 147–150
).
Male: Unknown.
Distribution:
China
(Yunnan) (
Fig. 155
).
