Eyes 2 + 2. SB 3–5 µm anterior to level of PLs. Dorsal idiosomal setae moderately covered with 4 rows of rather small barbs (barbed tetrapectinala). Flagelliform sensilla with small cilia in proximal half and 17 long branches in distal half ( Vercammen-Grandjean & Langston 1976 ). Type material (not examined). Holotype (No 15924) and 15 paratypes larvae from Berylmys bowersi (Anderson) , MALAYSIA : Selangor State , Ulu Langat , 13 June 1950 , coll. J. R . Audy. Type series is deposited in IMR . Etymology. Species epithet is combined from the words “minutus” and “ului” and refers to the small size of this species, as compared with the closely related L. ului sp. nov. Remarks. Vercammen-Grandjean and Langston (1976) also recorded this species from Macaca nemestrina (L.) in Selangor State, from Niviventer cremoriventer (Miller) in Pahang State, and from Rattus sp. in South Vietnam . Free larvae of this species were also collected in Terengganu State of Malaysia . All these materials were used by Vercammen-Grandjean and Langston (1976) for their measurements.
