The species is known only from
Artvin
and
Trabzon
Provinces of
Turkey
.
Bionomics.
Specimens of
C. batesi
were found in
Artvin Province
at night (21:00 hrs) on the trunks of
Fagus orientalis
Lipsky (Fagaceae)
, where they fed on foliose lichens.
