Chiraz , 1600 m , 25.iv.1937 , leg. Brandt (ex coll. H. G. Amsel ) (GS: HA-2035). Distribution. Iran : Fars (Komehr, Shiraz) ( Amsel 1953 , 1961 ). Remarks. This species was firstly described as a subspecies of E. caesialis by Amsel (1953) , but later raised to the species level ( Kuznetsov 1958 ). In the only male deposited at the HMIM some traces of cornuti were observed, while in the examined paratype , cornuti were entirely visible, although being very small ( Figs 7B, H ).
