Known distribution: Bolivia, Ecuador and Peru (

Ecology
Occurs as terrestrial in lowland rain forest.
Taxon discussion
This species is easily recognizable by the 2 - 5 pairs of pinnae, cuneate at base, and tubular yellow to orange glands on the receptacle (
Smith 1983
). The presence of these glands is shared with
T. (Meniscium) andreana
(Sodiro) C.V.Morton, the closest species to
T. (Meniscium) arcana
(
Smith 1983
).
