Notes:
—A widespread, very distinctive, and probably isolated species; occasionally seen in cultivation. Unusual in the reddish young fronds and strictly opposite pinnae. Rhizomes short-creeping, nodose; rachises glabrous; blades 1-pinnate; pinnae ovate-deltate, subsessile or stalked
