This is the only genus amongst the Caucasian Anthroelucosomatidae which is characterized by the complete absence of telopodites on the posterior gonopods, a feature shared with some Balkan forms. The genus was placed within the Caucaseuma complex by Ćurčić et al . (2008) together with Caucaseuma and Adshardicus , but the absence of telopodites on the posterior gonopods clearly separates this genus from all other Caucasian anthroleucosomatid complexes.
