Notes: —Blades ternate, 2-pinnate-pinnatifid (3-pinnate-pinnatifid at bases), proximal pinnae pedicellate, the petiolules ( 1–9 cm long), not winged; veins free; awns present on costae adaxially. Closely related to P. deflexa , agreeing in the pedate blade architecture but differing in the stramineous spines on the costae and costules.
