Holotype female ( Fig. 3E–J , 8 ): Body generally shiny orange-brown, with fuscous corium, forewing membrane and abdomen; dorsal surface with sparsely distributed, simple, semierect setae. Head shiny orange-brown, narrowly pale along caudal margins of compound eyes, higher than wide in frontal view; compound eyes strongly protrusive dorsad, slightly separated at midline, occupying dorsal 1/4 of head. Antenna orangebrown; segment I polished, with two apical branches; segment II highly polished, conspicuous, spoon-shaped or paraboloid, caudally (or dorsally) concave; segments III and IV filiform. Labium shiny dark brown, reaching abdominal sternum IV; segment I and basal 2/3 of segment II orange-brown. Pronotum polished, impunctate, with distinctly carinate lateral margin; scutellum conically projected, with a bundle of stiff setae at apex; pleura generally shiny brown, with light brown scent efferent system. Hemelytron shiny dark brown, shallowly and roughly punctate, with lateral margin pale brown, semitransparent; clavus and anterior part of corium speckled with pale spots; apical part of corium with a shiny, fuscous callosity; cuneus with white basal half, black apical half and pale brown lateral margin; membrane including veins wholly fuscous, opaque. Abdomen uniformly shiny fuscous. Genitalia not examined. Measurements. Holotype female : Body length 2.70; head width across eyes 0.53; head height 0.75; lengths of antennal segments I–IV: 0.33, 0.90, 0.30, 0.45; maximum width of antennal segment II 0.57; mesal pronotal length 0.50; basal pronotal width 0.78; width across hemelytra 1.05; lengths of metafemur 1.05, tibia 1.65 and tarsus 0.41.
