Bionomics
. The species is univoltine throughout its range. Flight period autumn, in
Turkmenistan
(Kopetdagh Mts.) from late August to November, most abundant in September to October. Inhabits high altitudes of mountain ranges from
380 to 1650 m
. Mature larvae were observed from April to mid May on
Onobrychis cornuta
L. Desk (Fabaceae)

Atraphaxis spinosa
L. (
Polygonaceae
),
Pistacea vera
L. (
Anacardiaceae
). Reared by H. Christoph from outskirts of Schahrud from caterpillars found on
Oxytropis pumila

. Pupation in the soil in fest cocoon. Eggs hibernate under scale cover.
