Remarks.
This species is known in northeastern Atlantic from the English Channel to
Morocco
, in sublittoral rocky bottoms (
Gofas & Oliver 2011
). It is common in Azores, Madeira and Canary Islands and it has been only recorded in the seamounts whose summit is shallower (Gorringe and Ampere) (
Gofas 1990
,
2007
;
Ávila & Malaquias 2003
;
Cordeiro & Ávila 2015
). Only
three juvenile
shells have been found (from a single sample obtained at a depth of
150 m
), one of them very eroded.
