Largusoperla flata can be easily distinguished from all other congeners by the paraprocts weakly sclerotized, almost flat, subtriangular from ventral aspect, lateral margins thickened and up-folded, apex blunt and darkly pigmented ( Fig. 1 ; Figs. 12–13 in Chen et al. 2018).
