Colouration.
Body and appendages entirely red, eyes black (fig. 6).
Remarks.
The only male specimen agrees well with Calman’s (1939) description and illustrations. The species was not previously reported from the South
China
Sea. The colouration of the species is reported herewith for the first time. This species is probably a bathypelagic species.
