Diagnosis.
P. acuminus
is close to
P. m a c u l a t u s
but differs from it by its thinner and pointed membranous conductor of the male palp, its short and longitudinally oriented embolus which is not coiled around the conductor, as well as by the wider anterior epigynal hood.

Chilum triangular, yellow-brown, sclerotised. Eye rows procurved from front. PSP subtriangular, yellow. PLB isolated, triangular, brown and sclerotised.
