Ariadna arthuri is similar to A. obscura , A. tarsalis , A. multispinosa , A. reginae n. sp. and A. aurea n. sp. due to the morphology of the male metatarsi I ( Figs 16C‒E , 32C‒E , 38C‒E , 54C‒E , 56C‒E ) and macrosetae pattern of the tibia I‒II of females, but differ by the presence of males with a sinuous metatarsi I, with two apophyses on the distal region, bearing thickened macrosetae ( Fig. 38C‒E ); females differ by the presence of the anterior receptaculum with a sinuous dorsal lobe and a expanded ventral lobe, mainly at the base ( Fig. 39C‒D ). Description. Male (IBSP 166771): Carapace and chelicerae orange ( Fig. 38A ). Endites yellow; labium dark yellow.
