In Morocco , it was listed both from the Rif by Aubert (1961) , Sánchez-Ortega & Azzouz (1998) , Errochdi & El Alami (2008) and Errochdi et al . (2014), from the Central Plateau by El Agbani (1984) and in the High Atlas by Meinander (1967) , Ajakane (1988) and Vinçon et al . (2014). Ecology. Larvae occur in mountain brooks and torrents between 170 and 1800 m in the Rif (Errochdi et al. 2014), between 1050 and 1350 m in the Central Plateau and up to 2150 m in the High Atlas. The adults emerge in winter and spring (II–VI).
