Biology.
No host plants have been reported previously for this species. We reared it in
Guatemala
from flowerheads of
Lycoseris crocata
(Bertol.) S.F. Blake

Asteraceae

Tomoplagia
species
attack plants in a variety of
Asteraceae
tribes, but some other species have been reared from
Mutisieae (
Prado et al. 2002
