Eyes each comprises about 12 facets. Habitat and distribution Sifted from the mixed leaf litter of a broad-leaved forest. Southwest China ( Yunnan ). Etymology The species name is dedicated to Liang Tang, in recognition of his efforts in collecting the type material. Remarks The new species and S . montanus are smaller species within the group of species near S . grandis (see remarks under S . magnus ), with body size ranging from 2.55 to 2.80 mm . They can be readily separated by the larger body size, the apophysis of antennomere IX located in posterior half, the basal protuberance of antennomere XI abruptly truncate apically, and aedeagus less rounded in S . tangliangi .
