REMARKS .— Ross and Gonzales (1992:68) cite two specimens from Catanduanes as well as two from the Bicol region of Luzon that in their view differ from previously recognized “races” of H. calligaster , i.e., H. calligaster and H. gemianulus , and therefore left the matter of assignment to future study.
