Remarks
.
Platytyphlops ledoyeri
is unique within the genus in having a single ridge dorsal and parallel to the marginal carina, and a short pair of dorso-medial ridges posteriorly. The rest of the species in the genus can be divided into those having only the marginal carina, and those having many ridges dorsal of the marginal carina.
