MNHN 2003.3374 (sex and age not observable, SVL 15.0 mm; specimen in poor condition), Lake Maninjau, Province of Sumatera Barat, elev. about 900 m ; MNHN 2003.3375 (sex unknown; SVL 14.9 mm ; specimen in very bad condition of preservation, so stage and sex allocation are not possible), Lake Maninjau, Province of Sumatera Barat, elev. about 850 m . Taxonomic comments . This species can be recognized by its very long tibia (651–667 ‰ of SVL), large webbing and distinctly enlarged toe tips. Distribution on Sumatra . Provinces of Aceh, Sumatera Utara; new for Sumatera Barat. Biology . A single adult and numerous tadpoles, some in metamorphosis phase, were observed at daytime in November. Specimens were found in a pond located at the edge of a forest in a marsh on the slopes of hills bordering the eastern shore of Lake Maninjau. The diurnal activity of youngs was also observed in this species in Bokeo Province ( Laos ) (Ohler, unpublished data).
