Anemesia sogdiana
species group
Diagnostic characters
Males in the
A. sogdiana
group resemble males of the
A. tubifex
species group in possessing a visibly swollen palpal tibia. However, they differ from the members of the latter group in having a noticeably longer and narrowly tapering embolus. Females can be distinguished in having the specific shape of undivided spermathecae with relatively long stalks narrowed apically.
