Diagnosis
. Very similar to
Kearfottia albifasciella
Fernald,
1904
in coloration of vestiture. Forewing upperside black with a wide transverse yellowish white band more or less widened posteriorly, and with marginal and often submarginal series of minute yellowish spots. Male genitalia with valvae lacking saccular process and with elongate, slender saccus.
