( SHNU ) Description. Male sexual characters. Metaventrite ( Fig. 8 ) impressed, with moderately long semi-erect pubescence. Profemur ( Fig. 12 ) with ventral side expanded gradually from base, at widest point near its middle forming weak and broad protuberance, then followed by ridge. Protibia ( Fig. 12 ) gradually wider starting from basal third, at widest point in apical sixth forming angular protuberance followed by ridge and narrowed apically. Metafemur ( Fig. 13 ) distinctly expanded in median third. Aedeagus ( Fig. 20 ) 1.83 mm long. Internal sac ( Fig. 23 ) with group of sclerites. Distribution. China (Yunnan, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Fujian, Hunan). Remarks. Scaphidium stigmatinotum is closest to S. klapperichi Pic, 1954 , but can be easily separated using the key provided in this paper. Scaphidium stigmatinotum differs from all the other Chinese species (excluding S. klapperich ) in having a distinct fascia pattern of elytra. For a detailed description see Löbl 1999 .
