, based on NTUM 10332 and 10333 collected in 2012; note that these were collected from off the
East Sepik Province
and not
Madang
and thus was probably confused with the
Hydrolagus
cf.
mitsukurii
specimen (see below) which was taken from off
Madang
. Despite some molecular differences, these specimens are morphologically identical with Australian
C. ogilbyi
specimens and were considered conspecific by
Finucci
et al.
(2018)
. Previously placed in the genus
Hydrolagus
.
