Thailand , locality data lost, 2002, Quicke & Laurenne (voucher AL0025, Genbank JF962770 ) ( BMNH ). Body length 4.5 mm , fore wing length 3.6 mm . Antenna [broken] with at least 34 flagellomeres. Medan flagellomeres 2 x longer than wide. Occipital carina broadly obliterated medio-dorsally, ventrally joining hypostomal carina. Mesopleuron largely aciculate, faintly rugulose anterodorsally, precoxal sulcus broadly weakly impressed with vertical striation anteriorly, specular area with small smooth zone. Midlongitudinal propodeal carina strong and complete. Fore wing vein 2-CU1 1.9 x 1- CU1. Apex of fore wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Fore wing vein 3-SR 1.45 x vein r. Fore wing vein 2-SR+M 1.1 x vein r. Fore wing vein SR1 3.08 x vein 3-SR. Hind wing vein M+CU 1.5 x 1-M. Hind wing subbasal cell evenly setose.Hind wing vein m-cu very faint. Apex of hind tibia without comb of specialised adpressed setae. Claws uncertain. Basal lobes of 1 st tergite weakly produced and weakly concave posteriorly. Midlongitudinal carina of 3 rd tergite distinct on anterior 0.7 of tergum. Etymology. Refereing to the use of codon identities to recognise this species from morphologically extremely similar ones. Notes. In addition to the key character it differs A. similicodon sp. nov. at many synonymous bases.
