( Tamatave , Madagascar ) Remarks.—A monospecific genus containing a small, green cicada with an extended anterior postclypeus, eyes longer than broad, prominent antennae, a head about as long as the pronotum, the posterior pronotal lateral margins angled posteriorly, globose male abdomen, short male opercula ( Distant 1912b ). Distribution.—The only species of the genus is found in Madagascar ( Metcalf 1963b ).
