( Madagascar ) Remarks.—The third of four species with the hind wings piceous or piceous-brown. It can be distinguished from Y. antiopa by the lack of lighter distal apical cells, and from the lack of white apical areas found in Y. brancsiki and Y. hova . Body length is 32–38 mm , wingspan is about 97–115 mm ( Distant 1899 ; specimens in hand). Distribution.—The species is only known from Madagascar ( Metcalf 1963a ; Sanborn 2013 ). Jacobi (1917) reported the species from Tulear, southwestern Madagascar .
