Afrotropical Region : Sudan ( Poisson 1964 , as H. soudani ; Linnavuori 1971 , 1981 ). New species for Israel . Comment. Linnavuori (1981) listed this species in the subgenus Hebrus s. str. and illustrated the scutellum.
