MNHN DCL 4053–D, Jean-Louis Etienne Expédition Clipperton 2005, station and depth not recorded, on dead corals, 1 specimen . MNHN DCL 4054–C, Jean-Louis Etienne Expédition Clipperton 2005, station 8, 15 m , on dead corals, 14–01– 2005 , 2 specimens . Description. Flimsy, thin patches on the underside of dead corals. Skeleton unispicular, oxeas thin, 105–126 x 2–4 µm. No microscleres other than a few sigmas that are almost certainly contaminations. Remarks. This material is insufficient to characterize it against the many Haliclona (Reniera) species. These are likely incipient specimens. They are mentioned here only to draw attention to the existence of a species of Haliclona (Reniera) at Clipperton Island .
