Diagnostic features
Cells III and the first two of the appendage form a divergent axis in relation to the perithecium and its stalk. Appendage basal cell longer than broad, including in the middle a small, lateral, lens-shaped, antheridium, which doesn’t contact with upper and lower septa (

Remarks
First record from
Denmark
. The Danish thalli are in poor condition although perfectly identifiable; the samples come from two dried beetles from two very old Museum collections (year 1872).
