Pseudoperma differs from Onocephala Sturm, 1843 and Stethoperma Lameere, 1884 in having the antennal tubercles widely separated and slightly elevated; antennae shorter, in female almost subequal to body length; and scape and third antennomere subequal in length in both sexes; whereas Onocephala has the antennal tubercles prominent, contiguous; antennae about twice as long as body in males, 1.3 times body length in females; and antennomere III slightly longer than scape in females, and distinctly longer in males. Stethoperma has the antennal tubercles prominent, subapproximate, dentate at apex; antennae 1.6 times body length in males and 1.3 times in females; and antennomere III distinctly longer than scape in both sexes.
